The Rev. Peter De Franco is a native of New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Don Bosco College, Newton, New Jersey in 1975, his Master of Divinity degree from Drew Theological School in Madison, New Jersey in 2002. He also took courses at General Theological Seminary in New York. Fr. Peter served at Grace Church in Madison as Associate for Christian Formation and at Grace Church in Nutley as Associate and Priest in Charge in 2005. He came to St. Peter’s Church in 2005 as Interim, was then made Priest in Charge, and recently became Priest for St. Peter's Episcopal Church in 2010. His areas of expertise include classic spirituality, urban ministry and congregational development. He and his partner, Carl Gincley share the rectory with three cats, two rabbits and two quail. The Rev. Lorraine Dughi earned her Bachelor’s Degree in French from the College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station in 1947, New Jersey and her Master of Divinity Degree in 2002 from Drew Theological School, Madison, New Jersey. She attended classes at General Theological Seminary in New York City for Anglican Formation. She has served at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church since 2002 as Seminarian, Deacon and currently Associate for Pastoral Care. Mother Lorraine has the distinction of being the oldest woman to be ordained in the Episcopal Church. She works with ministries to Seniors both in St. Peter’s Church and in different Nursing Homes. She lives in Hackettstown, New Jersey with her two cats and a dog. She is the mother of three, Grandmother of six, and Great Grandmother of three.
Nicholas Hopkins has served as Organist and Choir Director of St. Peter’s Church since 2003. Nick earned his D.M.A. in Music from Stanford University. He brings to his work a wide understanding of world music and is a talented composer and arranger.
